Hey Rambo

I have a friend who lives in Ft Dodge. In that area he's sure he can't use a HP rifle to hunt deer (southern IA only) he is unclear if he can use a rifle on coyotes?? Any insight from our G&G Iowa guy.
Thanks,
Jerry

You can use any rifle on a coyote, rabbit, ground hog etc. Only deer have firearm restrictions as to rifle use. Oh, and turkeys. Can't shoot turkeys with a rifle. We shoot coyotes with high powers all the time.
