i'm not entirely positive but i think you can get a brand new one for around $120 from Walmart. you may want to investigate prices.

200 bucks is the cheapest you'll find that gun for in Washington State.

Another low-buck possibility is the Interstate (Norinco) pump HD shotgun with ghost ring sights. It's an 870 copy and gets decent reviews.

I recently purchased U.S. Military combat boots (desert boots) on the bottom was a stamp that read; "made in China". What's goin on!

I have one and I love it. My brother shot mine and went to buy himself one. I've only heard one complaint about it kicking to hard. I don't think it kicks any harder than any other shot gun. I give it 2 thumbs up for the price. Dick's Sporting Goods had them for $189. Good luck.

I bought one for my oldest son a few weeks ago. It does kick pretty hard. We paid 140.00 at gander Mountain. My first shotgun was a NEF Pardner single shot 20 years ago. I still have it and it still shoots great. For a inexpensive shotgun the new Pardner pump is a great gun. The day after we bought it he won a turkey at a turkey shoot and I took it skeet shooting and did pretty well with it. My only negative about it is that if you get the 26" barrel it is heavy.

That is the single shot model.

I'd buy a single shot model for survival. Nothing can go wrong with the gun.

I got one a few years back and I love it. Built like a tank, I've never had a single issue with it. I gave about $90 for mine, it's a 20 gauge single-shot.

The single is solid for ever and every thing that I have read says that the pump is every bit as strong and fits rem 870 add ons. One guy said that he had 1000 rounds thru his and it wass going strong. Its hard to fault a $200 pump anyway let alone one that works!!

I have had my single shot 12 gauge rifled Bull barrel Pardner for over 12 years and is the only shotgun I will use in shotgun season here in Indiana. It has never failed me yet. Not sure if they were made in China then or not, but I still hear nothing but good things about them. Mine is sighted in @ 100yds. and the buck I got this year stepped off @ 80yds. It is a great little shotgun and if I have 12 more years of hunting left in me, it will be my deer gun of choice.

Picked up a single shot 20 gauge sunday, not a NEF, but a Rossi. Felt just like a pardner and it was about 40 bucks cheaper.

^ the pardner sells for about 120. I wouldn't want a rossi. Just my preference.

With the standard 12 guage model smooth-bore + a rifled barrel with sights, you could hunt anything on the planet with one.

Today I paid $85 for the .410 pardner<used but I couldn't tell it>. It will be my 9yr olds first shotgun. I'm thinking these things are mechanically simple and should last forever.
