Must not be very many of us from Dakota (South). But I agree with you. Are you eastern or western?

Should be West Dakota and East Dakota instead of north and south. What do I know, I'm from Missouri.

Either way, S. Dakota is beautiful. Spent lots of time in Winner, SD visiting family. Also have family in Rapid, more than beautiful country.

If it was just Dakota it would be the third largest state wouldn't it? Still be about 45th in population, it's nice to have some elbow room.

I tried to buy a tourist book about the Dakota's . the girl in the bookshop said "what you want that for? anyway couldn't find one so just headed off anyway. what a great state. pulled into Deadwood in the middle of a Blizzard, was trapped for 2 days, drove down to rapid city, went to the badlands, Mt. rushmore, the needles? saw about 1000 turkeys. might be my favorite state that I've been to. I didn't get to the eastern part, but the west part is amazing. if you live there you are lucky.

If you liked western SD you might want to avoid the east side of the state , day & night differance. The left wingers are exciled to that side of the state as well.

Welcome to the land of free ( South Dakota) we require librials to bring their own rope and we prefer they bring their own tree as well.

you can forget about ND cuz the ND G&F HATES non-res. in all aspects of hunting!
if I remember correctly for turkey, non-res. get a chance at tags after the non-lottery residents get their chance at the left over tags & whats left over, then the non-res can take a crack at whats left over.
this is for fall turkey hunting! spring turkey hunting is a resident only.

there one thing I found very amazing being in ND, the whole fricking state is 1 (ONE) area code! coming from a city with 4 area codes I was amazed the whole state was 1 area code LOL
