newspaper ads. Often a 10/22 can be had in really great shape
for not so much money. Also, just put out the word locally you are on the lookout. Just don't rush to buy the first one that comes up. Take some time.
alright thanks im glad noone suggested going to walmart the one i saw there looked like a cheap piece of s**t. ill try giong back to the local shops they might have gotten one by now. thanks again
i went to one of my local shops today. they didnt have a 10/22 but they did have a m1carbine there for 459 not what i went looking for but ill be back to pick it up when i get paid.
got my last one at a gun show only wanted the recever and bolt after telling the seller i did not want his 100 rd clip over and over bought it for 100.00 got almost 1000.00 in that gun now its a fne shooting .17hm2 if your going to build it up forget the stock forget the blue look for a good base and dont be afrad to insult the seller
If you can buy 1 new for around $200 , go for it. You can always sell the stock and what ever else you upgrade and get part of your money back.
let us know what your doing,,, it helps keep me from starting another and getting in trouble. I just refinished a perfectly good stock, 'cause I was bored and needed to do something??
