Hi All

Do you accept misguided children from North Dakota? I'm from Minot, "The Tragic City".

I am originally a Buckeye. I am a 27 year veteran of the Air Force and retired here.

I've loved it here since I was first stationed here in 1962. Yes there were airplanes in those ancient times and they actually had those new fangled Jet engines on them. Of course ya had to kick the Triceratops off the runway.

While I'm here wasting Bandwidth, do any of you know where in the Dakotas at Hardware Stores, Gun Shops or other vendors where to purchase a MN? Moldy Nugget, Mosin Nagant?

I bought one last month in Bismarck at a shop called Gun City. I love that place. they always have what I'm looking for. EXCEPT now. Loading components are few and far between. Not their fault.

Good to talk to y'all, hope to hear back from you.

Best wishes, Bill

P.S. Archetype

There are a lot of people who Paddle Fsh in the Little Missouri before the confluence with the Big Muddy. From Williston east is great fishing.

Might be a tad off topic..but a buddy was saying while driving west on I90, past the Pierre exit, he saw on the south side of the highway a number of prairie dog towns...anyone familiar with that area know if that is public/walk in land or private?

Looks like we have quite a few from the Vermillion-Yankton area. I have a son and daughter in that area. They are gammers more than shooters.

Billy D, I'm in the Magic City also. A couple of years ago I got an AR15 at Sportsmans loft. In June I got an STI 45 from them. All I've bought at Gun City so far are books and holsters. A couple of years ago I was on a list at Gun City for a PT 1911 Taurus when they first came out. Dirt Cheap Pawn shop ordered one in for me at a good price before GC could get one. My son lives in Bismarck so I get down a few times a year.
Tommy J.

PS: Deadwood is about 7 hours from here and it and Yellowstone are my wife and my favorite places to go.

Thanks for bringing this thread back! Much appreciated by us folks in the Dakotas, few of us as there are. But looks like our numbers are growing slowly. Chris if you make it to Deadwood i wish you the best of luck!
