19 f. snowin like the dickens!

19f windy and lotsa snow.
i dunno what the windchill is.
if the roads are clear enough i am going to the indoor range.
p.s.
i got chains on all 4 tires.
the roads have ice with snow on top of it.
so you slide even with chains.

If we get 2 inches of snow here people freak out and we have wrecks all over the place. A couple of years ago we had 12 inches of snow fall over night and it shut down our county and it was illegal to be out on the road.

22 degrees, winds at 17mph here. Weatherman predicted up to 15inches of snow by this evening.. We're getting approx 2inches per hour, no plows out yet...

Keep it down there William! It's clear and sunny here in Denver, I want it to stay that way.

As of this post, we have a little over 12" on the ground, with no end in sight. I'm concerned about my wife as she has to drive 30 miles to get home, all of it through a Lake Ontario snow belt.We had two snowblowers going this afternoon.

I was up in Winter Park this last week, beautiful, cold, and snowed about every day, at least on the resort. Got down to Fort Collins where it was nice and warm...

Man I can't believe those pictures!!! The biggest snow I remember (34 yrs) was 12" and it closed school for 2 weeks and shut down everything.

It only snows here when its around 40 degrees and it melts when it hits the ground.

^LOL...

...sorta looks like my back yard this morning, on a smaller scale.

My snow blower balked at the task...

...so my grandfather-in-law's huge front end loader had to come in to clear things up.

Right now we're experiencing a heat wave here in SE ID...

...36F and wind chill of 26F.

Wow...

...so warm that I was just now able to sweep all the snow and ice from the main RV and slide roofs.

Yeehaw...
