Like I said, IMO, it depends on the situation. If a clerk miscounts my change and she would have to account for it later, I'll say something and correct her. If a small-time retailer made a pricing mistake that would hurt them, I'll say something. But if someone enters the wrong price in the computer system at WalMart and I get something at a helluva low price, I'm going back for more! .45 ammo normally $29.98 for $2.98, HELL YEAH!!!!!

You know Wal-Mart is no where near a mom and pop store. This does not change the fact that right is right and wrong is wrong and two wrongs do not a right make. I hate the way wal-mart and other national and multi-national corporations have all but ended the locally owned and operated store. This being said however, I love the low prices and convenience they offer. When faced with a miss marked item, I do not think it is the customers responsibility to inform the store that they should have the item marked at a different price. If the item rings up as marked I simply assume they intended to sell it for that price and tell my friends that they should run and get some. If I pick up an item and it rings up for a price higher than what it was marked at, I simply tell the cashier that this price was not what the item was marked and I am uninterested in purchasing it at the higher price. If they choose to sell it at the price marked I take it….. If they don’t I leave it. I see nothing wrong with the purchase of an item at a price that the retailer was willing to sell it, correct price or not.
