I'm 56 yr old and can not see the ironsights without glasses, and with glasses I can not see the target. I am going to upgrade and get a 2x magnifier and a green dot. Red is hard to see in bright conditions. I've heard that green is easier to see. The Tasco, I got at Walmart for 32.97. A good starter, not to expensive and I was not sure if that was what I was looking for. Thank-you for the compliment on my SKS. Not nearly as nice as what you posted. Chas |

Yugom59/66 that looks sweet. did you do the camo job yourself?
Lobo, how do you like the ATI stock. Since I cant put my red chinese fiberglass stock on mine in NY, I want to put a US made aftermkt on it. NY sucks, still following the 922r here.

yes i painted it myself. i got the shell deflector today and it didnt fit my mount so i had to rig it up...its not too bad. put the tapco mag on it too...heres what it looks like as of today..
you cant tell in the picture but i ruffed up the stock by using super glue and some fake moss stuff before i painted it and then added some moss to the scope and on parts of the rifle(it makes it look goofy in the picture) but it breaks up the silhouette of the rifle a little bit. it think it looks sick as hell...i couldnt be happier

NY sucks, still following the 922r here. | I love it, I liked the way the original stock looked and all, however at 6'3" I found it had to short a length of pull for me to shoot comfortably, The ATI stock fixed the issue, not to mention it looks pretty good, and ATI offers a lifetime warranty on their products, the bipod is also from them if memory serves. It may only be plastic but it has stood up well, not that I intentionally abuse the weapon but stuff happens.
