Muzzelite Bullpup Stock for 1022?

Just curious...anyone ever tried one of these? Results? They look alright in a pic, and they would shorten things down to a more manageable package, but I can't help but wonder if they affect accuracy or performance. Also wonder if they hold up under hard use. Also, anyone know what a new SS 1022 goes for at Wally World now?
Thanks...

I'll be frank...

I put one of my 10/22s in that stock, and overall, I like it. There are a few things to consider. The mag well behind the pistol grip limits which mags will fit. The new trigger and link make the trigger pull heavy and awkward.

But it is fun to shoot, and mine remained quite accurate in the new stock, but I won't use it for hunting any more. Just plinking and range days.

As for durability, mine is holding up quite well after about 4 or 5 years as a bullpup. I am quite rough with it because I know that if I break the stock I have the original stock waiting for it at home.

I don't like the optics mount that comes with the stock. I would not recommend the bullpup if you plan on using optics.

Oh, and it's not quite as pretty in person as it is in the pictures.

depends where your located. in my travels in the US i noticed prices at wal_mart are different inmost states. this past summer my wally world, 22 in. ss barrel, walnut stock, high vize sights, $211.00. ibought one. i called ruger/strum, they told me/ exclucise for wal_mart. ibought it because of the 22 IN. barrel. don"t need a .920 barrel. just need some adjustments & corrections (barrel bedding, trigger settup) etc.

I had one years back, it was a 10/22 with a heavy target barrel so I roughted out the stock where the barrel passed thru, I dident care for the supplied sights so used a Reflex sight "the sight radius is too short", the heavy barrel added weight to make it steady and the sight was a real step up in making this little carbine a performer!, the long plastic linkage that actuate's the trigger is gives the whole thing a springey feel but it works, it would help to put a sear kit on the 10/22 before mounting one these stocks.
