How did you find G&G?

I can't remember if this has been done before or not if so I apologize for the dupe.

I found this site while researching all things related to the PSL. There was a link to G&G because BattleRifleG3 was selling custom stocks for the PSL. I book marked the page and it's still my link to G&G. I wonder if he still sells those?

I find it amusing that I went looking for a product and found friends instead.

I was searching firearm information in the Yahoo search engine and a post from G&G came up. One click and it was love at first sight.

Pretty much the same.....Cold weather..can't shoot, so got on the confuser and ended up at G&G. Liked the site, the topics and the apparent friendships. Obviously some very knowledgeable people to boot.

Searching for info of the FEG AP 7.65 pistol I'd just bought. Found the information I needed, and a bunch of friendly helpful folks.

Got tired of the CMP forum after virtually all of the old-timers apparently got fed-up & left. Googled "M1 Garand forums", and G&G was in the results. Thought I'd check it out. I like it. Hope I can be useful.

I can't remember exactly but I know I was googling something. Bookmarked the page and came back a few more times and then finally got a name and started posting.

It says I joined back in Feb. 2005 but that was probably me just google searching some rookie firearms related question on the internet. I probably made an account asked my question (maybe) and then I never came back.

Then 2007 comes by and I stumbled across this website again and when I tried to make an account it said my user name was already in use. I had forgotten I had made one a couple years prior. A

So here I am proud to be here and thankful for all the awesome people that make up this forum! And look at me now, 811 posts later and still counting! It really is "The Friendliest gun forum on the internet!"

I was looking for information on the M-1 Carbine. I starting reading the posts and it didn't take long to realize that the G&G has some really intelligent members. I have learned a lot about guns, politics and just things about day to day life. I also realized that we still have some really decent people all over this country.

When I got back visiting from CA Seabee told me about this place called G&G.At first I thought I wouldn't have anything in common with anyone.I don't really talk about guns that much so what would I have to offer anyone here was my thought. But after lurking I went ahead and joined the site.I am sure glad I did.I have met members face to face and some I will never meet that I can call friends. Now I'm an addict to a powerful drug called G&G and I don't think there's any help for me.

Was doing a Google search for handguns. I do think this question has been asked before. No matter, it's a good question.
