Not familiar with Henry's so I looked up their site for a picture of one.

Henry Repeating Arms Rifles

I don't see the dilemma, get a Henry. You want a casual plinker/fun gun you'll appreciate the low cost of .22's.

Glad to hear you went against the consensus and chose what "YOU" wanted.I don't own a High Point.Nor do I desire to own one.But if I wanted one and could afford it,I would get one.I do own a Henry as well as other lever rifles.For me,there is just some satisfaction/pleasure in working the lever on a rifle that I cannot get with any other type of actions,even tho I have others that are better looking,shoot straighter,and cost more than these li'l .22lr,s.At the same time,if I could get that feeling out of something that basically just sprayed bullets all over,that is what I would choose to get. sam.
