Lever 22 is a good sentimental classic but it's slow and a 22 caliber rifle. The 995 is a larger still cheap caliber that is fired much faster.

henry
it is a nicer gun.
the henry and the highpoint are on opposite ends of the spectrum as far as quality.
they both shoot .
but the henry is far Superior in the quality department.

that does not change the quality factor.

Of coarse the quality of Henry is say 10 of 10 and Hi Point is say 6 or 7 of 10. But, just trying to set him on a slightly larger caliber.

Why did you get rid of the 995?

Yeah, I dont own the 995 but from what I have heard the synthetic(plastic)stock is very cheaply made. And all Hi Point models are ugly. But, im glad to hear it was reliable for you.

The Henry is a beautiful rifle and I really like the hex. bbl. but the Henry is relatively easy to find and it seems that the Hi Point Carbine is getting more difficult to find. For that reason I would get the Hi Point Carbine now.

The Henry is a bit more expensive than the Hi Point, but much cheaper to shoot. I own both and have had to put 2 stocks on the Hi Point. It all depends on what you want to do with the gun, shooting cans in the pit I'd get the Henry, if you want to shoot steel in action shooting scenarios get the Hi Point.

i would say get the hi point 9mm, but that is only because i have one and i love it. i honestly dont have any experience with the henry 22. i would prefer to have a 9mm over a 22 and would probably get a 10/22 if i were going to buy one. but again, i dont have any experience with the henry so i guess u have a tough decision to make. buying one gun over the other always sux because u obviously want both, hehehe.
