Mossberg barrel changing

I just bought a new Mossberg 500 pump that came with two different barrel. I was wondering if someone could explain how to change out the barrels.

I understand that i have to loosen the cap at the top but.....what position should the action be in.

Is this right --move the action all the way reward then to the middle, remove the barrel, but do i have to move the action before i put on the other barrel or leave it in the same position.

also once the different barrel is on do i move the action forward from the middle or should i go reward then forward.

Thanks ahead of time, I really confused on how to do it properly

Hey man, welcome aboard! It makes no difference which dirrection you go with the bolt, just put it in the halfway pos., remove the cap off of the mag and then pull the barrel. Install the other barrel straight into the receiver and reinstall the end cap. Once it's installed, close the action and cycle a couple of times to make sure it functions properly.
