| .45 ACP for Sale
Hi folks. Awhile back, I ordered a Colt Sistema pistol and, in anticipation of its arrival, purchased ammo for it. Jump forward 6 months and, having gotten tired of waiting, I just cancelled the gun order. So, I'm left with 1,000 rounds of 230gr RN .45 ACP ammo from TMS Ammunition Supply. Shaun, from TMS, suggested posting on these boards to see if anyone would be interested in buying the ammo. I'm looking to sell for $275. I'll take care of shipping. Feel free to either respond here or e-mail me directly if you're interested. |

Hey there, Papa. That would be the way I'd go, but I'm actually moving to New York (Manhattan) soon. Earlier this year, it would have been worth it just to get 8 or 9 months of use out of the gun. But by the time I'd get one now, I'd have to turn right back around and sell it. |

Why are you moving to a city that does not respect your right to own a handgun to protect yourself? Must be a good job or something.

Hey guys Jason could really use the assistance in getting rid of the ammo I wish I could buy it back from him but business has kinda been slow. I was hoping to have had his Sistema back in April but JLD kept pushing the ship date back further and further saying delays were due to shipping out of Argentina. At least he is able to keep one of the toys I helped get him a 1917 Colt in 45 Long Colt -- its a nice shooting gun and he can leave it with the family home in NJ. If you know of anyone that can assist him its appreciated. The bullets are provided by Magnus which are used in competition at Camp Perry every year. they are loaded at 840fps if you have any questions e-mail me

if he takes the 1917 Colt to NJ best keep it locked up for the duration. Jason will have to register it with the police state. i am not sure of the procedures involved Jason you need to find out before you go!!! taking a gun to the range, requires the purchase permit (pink copy) with the gun at all times, no excuses.

That is such a pain in the butt! I'm so glad I don't live in one of those states!

awhile back after Der Fuerer Florio banned assault weapons. some poor schlep from Tenn. had moved to NJ. took his Ar-15 in the woods for a little target practice the cops confiscated the rifle booked him on numerous related charges. ignorance of the law is no excuse, so the law says. i know he got jail time, but i can't remember how long. |

Well, I was born in NY and raised between there and NJ (I've been working in Tennessee for the last year) -- so I don't see moving back as giving up a Constitutionally granted right so much as just going home. Still, if your pity will help this Yankee unload 1,000 rounds of ammo he can't use, I'll accept it. |
