Hi. I have a C9, and it seems to be "tight". I have shot about 200 rounds though it, and have been using Winchester plinkers. Can you tell me it the gun will "loosen" in. That is, when loading the mag, the slide seems a bit "forced" when chambering the first round. My HP 4O S&W slides and chambers that first round just fine!
Thanks for your input!

| about the gun loosening up
jotruelove, I can not give an accurate answer on this question, as I have fired only 3 rounds through my JHP .45acp in the almost a year since I bought it new. And in a couple weeks I am buying either a 9mm pistol, or the 9mm carbine, probably the pistol first so I can do a bit of practice then take the course to get my conceal carry license. After buying all the accessories I want/need for the pistol I will then buy the 995 Carbine, ATI stock and laser, put a Leapers 6" or 7" Tactedge red/green dot optic, a tact. light, several high cap mags, and a supply of ammo if we can still buy it in quantity. I think the pistol and carbine in 9mm would make a nice combo, but that's just my opinion, and we know how opinions are.

| 9MM Hi-Point
Souunds like fun, Wood I used a .40 to do my CC safety class with. I had thought the 9mm would be great, but I did not have it sited in yet.
BEar in mind there is nothing wrong with the action once a round in chambered. No misfires, lead flies where it's pointed. But it seems that with the optional 10 round clip, the ammo is "pressing" so hard into the frame, that when chambering the round, I note a measure of friction. I was wondering after a few hundred rounds if this friction minimizes, as the pistol "loosens up."
My father-in-law, like you has noted the same "tightness" using an 8 round mag... I was just wondering what others were experiencing...

| That carbine is wicked cool Guitarzan. Is it a 40 or a 9? Either way, it has me drooling man.

Thanks. It's a 995. I think a little paint on the stock adds personality. I don't believe the ATI stock is available for the 40? Could be wrong...

| I told myself that 10 long guns was enough, but that 995 with a custom camo finish has me inspired. I have a roll of ACU camo templates and all the colors to do one in Duracoat, that would be cool. Can you get high-cap mags for the 995? How about a scope mount? Thanks for any info.

Thanks for any info. | Scope mount comes with it, but no hi-cap mags available. Well, there is a 15-round aftermarket mag, but everyone says they're junk.
