Any Massachusetts shooters out there? I am new to this forum and would like to hear from you. I am just getting back into shooting after a 5-7 year absence. I shoot mainly revolvers, S&W 642, 442, and 34. I also have a 22A .22LR semi-auto. Come on Mass.! let's show our presence! Cheryl
Hello Cheryl. I'm from MA, too. You can tell you like the official MA gun manufacturer! I actually shoot at the S+W range quite often, but don't own a S+W myself, at least yet. Primarily shoot Rugers (SP101 .357 and a MK II .22).
i was born and raised in western mass (easthampton) moved 200 plus miles to north in 1996 . mass will always be home ! but to honest the gun laws are much better up here
Hi cheryld ~ I'm from Eastern Mass. just getting started back into shooting too, after about a dozen years away from it. I shoot rifle and pistol and I'm getting my reloading started up again ... ever so slowly! This is a great forum from where I sit and I'll be checking in often to see what's happening. All the best to you.
Welcome to the Guns and Game forum. I am not a native New Englander; however after 24 years I guess I have to start calling Massachusetts home. I was born and raised right outside of Pittsburgh, PA. The issues concerning the right to own and carry concealed were more positive and accepting than our present state. I guess being in Massachusetts gives me a challenge and an opportunity to educate others about gun rights, help to make a positive difference in our present gun laws and meet others who share my view.
I live near Springfield, MA and have enjoyed numerous visits to Smith and Wesson and the Springfield Armory. I work as a school counselor and private therapist, and after a long hard day, heading to the range is such a wonderful way to unwind and relieve tension. It's better than any aspirin.
Cheryl D, I like your choice in firearms and again would like to extend a warm welcome to the forum. Keep shooting and keep learning.
Mass shooter here (that doesn't sound good) and like the auto-loaders. Anyone know where to find cheap FMJ 9x18 rounds in this state?
Tom
Have you tried Wayne's Weaponry in West Boylston, MA. They are the cheapest for ammo anywhere, even online!! I'm not sure if they have exactly what you're looking for, but it's worth a call to find out. Their website is:
I lived a stone's throw from Mass for years, in Enfield CT. Still have tons of family in Springfield. It's a pretty place for sure, but I have no plans on moving back. My heart is set on the Northwest.
