it gets so cold here that mittens are the way to go.
if you like get the wool fingeless glove type with the mitten part that pulls over them.

A set of Mecanix both insulated and non insulated
I like them 90cent pairs of knit cotton gloves they are great at working at sub zero temps when it comes to having to thread on huts and small bolts they are hard to beat, you dont wear them the screw will stick right to your finger and leave a nasty frost burn
Leather gloves for handling hot materials (welding gloves)
plain deer skin or pig skin un-lined gloves for handling wire make shure they have the draw string on the cuff (used them for repairing barbwire fences when I was on the ranch)
Those isotoner golves would pretty much work for other stuff.
