CZ 52 grip

I am looking for some wooden grips for my CZ 52 and have found myself at a loss. I researched older forum postings and really came to like the grips previously sold from makarov.com. I am curious if these grips can still be purchased elsewhere?

If not pictures of your CZ's with other brand wood grips would be greatly appreciated.

I could never justify paying better than half of what I paid for a gun for grips. a match bbl or trigger work maybe but not for cosmetics. just me the cheapskate.

I know somebody that makes molded plastic grips, but not wood.

Haha, well althought I do indeed understand where you are comming from, the cheap CZ 52 reign will end eventually and at that point I could justify my purchase for expensive grips.

Other then that my stock grips are in worse shape then a human can imagine, so I figured why not spend the extra thirty dollars and make the upgrade.

Get you a piece of blackwalnut and make them,or have a cabinet shop cut them out.I'll keep mine original and if price go's up it will be worth more original.

I got a pair of grips when Makarov.com was doing their inventory clearance prior to becoming useless. They look nice, but I like the feel of the plastic ones better.

I doubt I will be departing with the pistol in my life time. So I am more worried about its value in my eyes. I would have no idea how to go about making my own, although it does sound pretty cool. Im more content however with buying a premade set.

Since you dont like the wood grips anyways.. Would you be willing to be parted from them?

I might be persuaded to part with them; provided an acceptable offer presents itself (via PM).

Here they are on my 52. They're made out of Brazilian Cherry and have a checkered pattern.

not quite on the wooden grip subject but in another thread someone stated that they installed a Hogue Handall slip on grip on their CZ52 and it changed the point of aim. well I tried it and it works! my main beef with the 52's is that no matter how much I drift the rear sight, it still shot low & left. after putting that grip on it shoots dead center. I'm gonna get one for all my 52's now

Noticed the inquiries about the CZ52 Grips. The pic of the Brazilian Cherry grips shown by Tulamosin are one of the pieces that I personally made and sold to Makarov.com. I machined the grips for Makarov.com for several years - up until they went out of business. I still have an inventory of CZ 52 grips and will sell them wholesale to members of this forum or will machine for you your choice of many kinds of woods. My shop is outfitted with full CNC functions as well as other high quality machinery. My grips will fit your pistol or full refund is available. Thanks for your time!
