I like the wood stocks and 10rnd box mag with iron sights. I don't know, can you use the 30 round mags in your area for hunting? The box mags seem to be the best IMO.

Its not numbers matching so I say
go wild. There is several good scope
bases available. Brass deflectors,etc.

Before you get your hopes up, receiver cover mounts are generally more trouble then they're worth. You have to rezero the rifle every time you clean it. Since it isn't all original, you don't need to worry about slight modifications, so I suggest a side rail attached directly to the receiver. That's what I want to do to mine. It costs a little more than a receiver cover, but works a buttload better. Also, I suggest a peep sight. tech-sights.com has some really good stuff. I have one of those and love it. For a hunting stock, the monte carlo is te most comfortable, but wooden always fits tightest, so it's up to you.

Be careful hunting with the 30 rd mags. I know im from the Soverign Republic of New Jersey, but I heard thats a big no-no in many states.

the 10 round original fixed mag is also illegal in many states. in Fl. any centerfire semi auto cannot hold more than 5 rounds. I use a 5 rd detachable in my hunting sks

Here is what I would do first fill your high cap magazine with concrete and use it for weight on a trot line in the spring ,thats all its really good for . They hardly ever feed right and you may end up blaming the gun like the last dude prolly did . Get a 5 or 10 round mag and shoot it as it was designed . If you want a high capacity rifle buy one that was designed to do the job , Ak 47 an ar15 and the like . Second don't worry with hanging all sort of crap from you rifle just because you see they make it does not mean it is usefull or that you need it. Third I agree with the post above forget the receiver mount scope idea it's one of those things I was refering to earlier ,just because they make it does not mean you need it. I would either spend the money in getting the receiver tapped or shoot it iron sights . I have been hunting yotes for 20+ yrs now and find that a scoped rifle is not the best thing to use . If your shooting at yotes from a great distance maybe , but most of the yotes I have shot are either on the move or just pop up making for very hard target acquision thru a scope . 2 cents

I wonder if mexico is empty enough to consider a move south to escape the communist take over of our goverment ?
