I live in Fla.
I'm really sick of people that don't know the facts spouting off about W stealing the election.
EVERY time the votes were counted, Bush won.
Democrats counted them, and he won.
Republicans counted, and he won.
Lawyers counted them, and he won.
Magazines sent people down here to count them, and he won.
Newspapers sent people down here to count them, and he won.
Political action groups sent people down here to count them, and he won.
Ballots were thrown out, more ballots mysteriously appeared, disappeared, and re-appeared (controlled by the Democrats running the county election process, BTW) and he won.
The ballots were hung upside down and counted, right side up and counted, inside out and counted, held up to the light and counted, re-interpreted as to the "voters' REAL intent" and recounted, chads were removed, replaced, fiddled with, poked and prodded, and HE STILL WON!
This doesn't mean I approve of his actions the last 8 years, 1 has nothing to do with the other.
In addition, every complaint of voter disenfranchisement by democrats was investigated by the FBI and EVERY one was found to be untrue.

Bingo. I'm sure you are sick of it. In this day and age, considering the fearsome competition between the parties, large-scale vote-fraud at the federal level is highly unlikely due to the sheer amount of physical and electronic scrutiny applied by both sides to ensure an accurate count.
That's why the issue had to go all the way up to the SCOTUS in 2000. Bush won fair and square - twice. Lot of people obviously didn't like what he did after he won that second time, but them's the breaks. If Barry fuffs it up, same thing'll happen in 2012.
Our recurring, peaceful transfer of power is one of the things about the US, or any true republic, that is most awesome. No bloodshed, no uprisings, and if there is contention, we handle it like civilized human beings. It's not like anyone suggested Al and Dubya should go at it with knives to determine who gets to be chief exec.

What I meant to say was that every complaint by democrats against Fla republicans.
However, there is a problem with Al Franken. I mean other than the obvious.
My understanding is that in Minn, there's a state law that every ballot that's contested must be duplicated. Unfortunately, the democrats running the election process up there neglected to mark them as "Duplicates", and they subsequently got counted twice.
How convenient.

Makes me wonder if my absentee ballot was even counted.

Thanks broad side, I didn't t have the link, but I knew I SAW it on the news.
I hate being paranoid, but they keep doing things that fuel my paranoia and it has become a ongoing pattern with government. The war powers act forever.
I have the right to question the people who make us frown at our dime, so do you.

DS, no prob. It was a simple youtube search that a lot of people won't do because they already "know" it doesn't exist. I think the term is called cognitive dissonance.
.....heck, I've seen people watch footage and then deny they saw what they saw or heard what they heard. In a way I don 't blame them. It can be some scary stuff when the implications of the larger picture start to sink in.

However, I didn't think to look on youtube. lol Instead I just googled the words "Kissinger mentions New World Order", and found notta. Good job Broadside. (FYI, I was just going to just use the initials for your name, but that would have said BS, lol)
As previously mentioned, I didn't doubt deersniper.

Never said you did GlockMeister. I didn't really have anybody in mind when I wrote it.
And yes, I guess my initials are BS
......but then again my wife has told me that for years.

That's not true. The Associated Press found that when counted by hand using common sense rather than the artificially restrictive method allowed by FL law, Gore barely won. Second, the only count that mattered was the one certified by Jeb Bush's buddy, Catherine Harris. The idea of having a SoS campaign for one candidate is a gross conflict of interest. This assumes of course that all the votes were counted. The U.S. Civil Rights commission found large numbers of lawful voters were struck from the roles and not allowed to vote simply because Jeb ordered an unprecedented purge of the role.
Frankly the Republicans would have done ANYTHING to win and the R. legislature was ready to pick its own electors if the people picked Gore. Also, the Constitution says that it is up to the Senate to resolve disputes concerning the electoral college. And what business does SCOTUS have in deciding FL state law? Talk about judicial activism!
Bush stole the election and 2000 was the most corrupt in U.S. history--fitting for one of the most corrupt governments in U.S. history. How many Republicans resigned, got indicted or convicted during the past 8 years? The idea of changing the House rules to protect slime-ball like DeLay is outrageous. And the outing of a CIA agent that compromised a counter-terrorism operation? Treason.
