500c

I was just wondering if this is common with the 500c.. I had this gun for 15 years now. Got the gun brand new... I really have not seen another one with the etching. It also has a darker wood color then other 500s..

Thats a nice looking shotgun! I got a new 500c and I don't have any of that cool engraving. My dads 20 year old 500a doesn't have it either. I wonder if anyone else knows if it was a factory job. Maybe you got one of the special edition, (only 200 made), type of deals?

I guess i found my info.. called a...Crown Grade. They sold for only about 15% more than the plain ones and have polished action parts as well as roll engraving and walnut wood.
Also i guess they do not make them anymore..

Was there a limited addition or was it just a cool upgrade that you could get?
