Took a few guns out to shoot today. I let my kid shoot my 995 at some snow in a can stuff from walmart. they were on sale for .25 each so we got a few to shoot at. made this video of the 995 and another video of a can i shot at 300 yards with my .308.

i actually planned on making a video of me dumpin a clip real quick into the target, but all i had was some cheap blazer brass ammo. i tried to do a few groups from 50 yards with it, and they were pretty bad. sometimes they would group good and other times they would stray off quite a bit. even the cheap winchester ammo thats like $20 for 100 works quite a bit better than the blazer. maybe ill get some decent ammo and make a video of that next weekend.

OK--now I'm pumped!

My "kids" are all girls in their 20s. But I'm going to the range with my Son-in-law Wednesday, and I'm takin my 995 to sight in. I figure 164-264 rounds will be enough!

yea, after we shot the 995 we backed up to 100 yards to shoot the .22. i got it dialed in and let him shoot it at another can of snow. he got it first shot, although it was in a sight vise. a cheap wallyworld sight vise.
