The cylinder in your New Model Super Blackhawk is fluted? Did not think that they even offered a fluted cylinder for it. You may be able to obtain one directly from Ruger.

I think the Hunter model of the SBH is fluted. Ruger has so many variations I can't keep up with it.
Gunbroker is going to be your best bet. I'm not sure if Ruger well sell you just a cylinder, don't think they do.

Mine's just a standard SBH. I guess I'll just keep hunting for one.

Numrich is out of stock. Brownell's has a cylinder in the white and ready to cut the chambers.

You have to ship your gun to Ruger, and they will swap it out. Costs almost as much as a new pistol !!

Steve, your SBH is a rare model, at least in this neck of the woods. The fluted cylinder and round trigger guard sure make it look different. I like it, LMK if you ever want to sell it.

I am sure that cylinders have to be matched to the gun, back to Ruger or a real good gun smith.

the hunter models are not fluted, and of course are also only in SS.
