Nah, the one with the springs, condensers, antennae, and all those other widgets on it. I think it's probably posted in the ugly gun forum. It points to the left as you view the pic. That one you just put up is pretty nice.

If I tape my Streamlight Scorpion to my walnut stocked 10/22, will that earn me points? I use it like that for eliminating 'coons in the barn or groundhogs the dog trees early in the morning. It ain't purty, with the barrel and the light wrapped in cellophane to protect them from the goo of the electricians tape, but it works pretty well. Maybe I should use duct tape for the pics to gain Bubba points.

Do you have the shoulder holster for that one? I like the 12 gauge revolver attachment.

I once had a book with a picture of a 12 ga. shotgun that had a large drum magazine -- 50 rounds I think. It was not a joke, not a gimmick, but a real offering by one of the European gunmakers. I want to call it the streetsweeper, but I'm pretty sure that's not it. I think it may have been capable of slow full auto fire, but was at least semi-auto.

That's actually an ARWN 6-shot grenade launcher, just needs a bayonet now.

you might be thinking of a shothammer. Can't find a picture right now.

Nope... killing. bigV, please stop finding random 'tacti-cool' pics to post here.

I want to tell you all that, even though this is for fun, I really don't want this thread filled up with fluff like the Mosin threads get.

The idea was that SV and I would look on posts elsewhere on G&G and rate them... then post the score and a link to that thread on this thread.

Also PLEASE NOTE: Firearms that you do not own or, at the very least, did not take the picture of are automatically disqualified. If you are found to be purporting a firearm as yours for the sake of the tacti-cool score, you will be disqualified from ever being scored again. Yes, I'm serious.

As much as I find this as something fun, I think this will be some actual work for me and SV, so I don't want people disrespecting that effort on our parts. I know that SV has a full-time job and I have a bachelor's degree I'm working on finishing, so it's not like we have a lot of time to throw at this.

THAT SAID, I am VERY pleased with the response we've gotten from everyone and look forward to making this more than a little fun for everyone.

billy... I luv ya, brutha... but, did you even read the post I made last night at 11:33 pm (pacific time)?

I'm pretty sure you have that beauty of an AK posted elsewhere... and I'm sure either SV or myself will find it and score it.

Please, try not to clutter this thread more than it already is.

I mean, if I could edit my original post forever, I'd continually place the scores there, but for some reason, the ability to edit your own post disappears after a certain time (which I really DON'T like). That means the scores will have to be posted in replies here... and the more 'fluff' and pictures that are posted here, the harder it will be to find the scores.

Thanks, bro. I can't wait to get this in full swing... I think it's going to be a lot of fun.

I'm taking the AK forum to watch, so I've got a lot cut out for me. Even though both SV and I are scoring, we're going to split up watching forums for stuff to score to make it more manageable.

Yes.......the WETA gun. This gun should only be hauled out if ALL else fails. Even then you have to watch for backfire........
That bad boy is way way way past cool.

The "Factory-stock" clause is now no longer going to be applied, since it's way too hard to determine what a firearm came with from the factory... such as plastic furniture versus wood.

So, all tacti-cool features will be judged at face value. Some things such as bayonet lugs on firearms that would possibly have them "stock" will count for less than on ones that shouldn't have them.

Also, that said, the list and points system is fairly finalized (as much as we can figure out) and is a full Times New Roman size 12 page long.
