UTG Quad Rail

Any of you have any experience with the UTG quad rail, I have one of their brass catchers and it is awesome. I have been wanting an accessory rail for the foreend. This deal looks to good to be true.

I considered the UTG railguards, but I was concerned about it being so many small sections. On my 2 AR-15's, I have installed the Ergo full cover railguards on the sides and the Ergo low profile covers on the top and bottom.

The Ergo covers are a stiff rubber material that can easily be cut to any length. And, unlike some covers, they have enough flex that you won't go nuts trying to install them.

All i have to say is anything that ses this in there add dos not belong on a real gun. i am finding way to many people buying cheep airsoft knockoffs for there ARs thees days sights rails and fake acogs/aimpoints then they complain about them not being right.

I put a set on my AK and seems to fit very tight and is sturdy. I thought they were a pretty good deal.Plus I already spent almost 200 on the surefires for the AR so didnt want to go overboard.

I love it. I personally like the smaller sections of the covers.

i put a utg on my AR, its a little heavy but helps control. and MagPul low-pro railcovers fit just fine on it and its very easy to intall, 6 hex-head screws to hold it together, very stable platform for a bipod, vert. grip.

Ditto. Have UTG on my AR and AK. Also have a UTG side-rail scope mount for the AK. They seem to make pretty sturdy stuff, but yes, it is a little on the heavy side. But I think all my stuff is machined aluminum, not steel as the one post states.

when it says full size, does that mean a 16" or 20"? also how hard are they to install. I have (well on order) a 16" CAR kit and want to swap out the forearm for something with rails.

If you have a carbine you want the shorter rail kit.

i have a utg rail on my ar and i love it, its also aluminum,
i know a lot of people hate them but mine is not a duty gun, just a mean looking paper shredder so for my purposes it works perfectly. cant beat it for the money
the rail covers it comes with i am not so sure about, they add a lot of thickness to it, but they stay on and are pretty comfortable

its easy to install and looks great. would recommend getting low-profile rail covers, like the ones from MagPul. makes it alot easier to hold on to

If you have an AR and want one, get one. The UTG rails work just fine.

Lots of companies design accessories for real weapons which then also work on airsoft guns. It doesn't mean that UTG designed it only for airsoft guns and then decided they could sell them for real guns.
