New 10-22 all weather carbine

Hey all,

Just got this 10-22 stainless all weather carbine. Looks to me like the end of the stock should slide off to store things in the stock. It sounds hollow, but dang if I can figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't answer your question, but could you reduce your font size using the controls at the top of the window where you type? My wife is taking a nap and your post almost woke her up.

Have you tried downloading the manual from Ruger's web site?

Jim,

I looked at the manual and didn't see anything on it, but like I said, it sounds hollow when tapped and sure looks like it should open.

Hey Reb,
There were/are two versions of the synthetic stock. One hollow.... one not!
The hollow stock doesn't provide for opening or access.
However one can add a sling stud even though it's hollow due to the thickness of the material. Adding a little JB or equivalent doesn't hurt.
