I just got my NAA Earl yesterday. Very cool. I love the octagonal barrel. The loading lever is kind of fun, although it only works to secure the cylinder pin. My new 1860 Earl is now my favorite NAA .22 Magnum revolver (and I have a few!). It's very accurate with the .22 Magnum cylinder.
Also, I recommend ordering the leather flap holster. I was undecided on mine, but decided to get it anyway. It's a nice leather holster with supple leather, unlike the hard-leather flap holster for the black powder Companion NAA minis.
I highly recommend the Earl. Very fun little gun.
