Went by Dick's here in Huntsville Alabama this morning, and they had UMC .223 on sale for 9.99 a box.

I just bought a box of Remington 45 grainers for $10.47 at the local Wally World. They are now out of 9mm Blazer brass, but I snagged two 100 round white box Winchester target loads at $17.97 each. That plus the Blazer Brass I've been slowly accumulating ought to keep me happy. Now I need to get more bullets to fill 'em after I empty them.

My next purchase will be a serious amount of .223 to feed the AR I'm starting to build. My local gun shop had some Remington mil spec loads at $170 for 500, which isn't too bad considering that I just bought 500 bullets from Midway for $76 plus shipping.

I just heard/found out there's a Dick's Sporting goods about 20-25 minutes north of me. I'll have to take a road trip.
