I have a red dot scope on my AR15 with an A2 stock. I can't seem to adjust my head low enough on the stock to look through it enough to use it. I will buy a collapsible stock if I have to but would rather not. Do they make an adapter to raise the scope a little? Thanks

Using rings or an attached mount? You can pick up a rail riser that works either way for typically less than $20. Just do a search for AR15 riser mount.
If you want to go with a good riser, check out yankee hill (YHM). They range from $13-50 or so, and are pretty good. They will be tighter in my opinion than your cheapie risers...
I understand using a riser for a scope but not a red dot. In the infantry we mounted our close combat optics (red dots) on the rail of our M-4 A3 and touched our nose to the charging handle. Since red dots don't have paralex the cheek weld is not that important for most shooting. Because the cheek weld is so important with a magnified scope a riser comes in handy. Just remember that the futher the center of the sight moves from the center of the bore it is going to change your max effective zero.
Well, the close combat optic you used is an Aimpoint. That sits much higher than most of the more "entry level" red dots. Your aimpoints will almost always either co-witness perfectly with the iron sights, or some mounts put them higher so the sights are in the lower 1/3 of the optic.
I have a cheap BSA or Truglo red dot, and if I put it on a flat top in front of my iron sights, I can't even see it. It's only about halfway up the front sight tower. If I had it on a 1/2" riser, it would be pretty close to where a typical aimpoint mount would be setup.
The cheek weld isn't important so much for the red dot, he's just wanting to make it more comfortable to shoot... it needs to be up a little higher (from what I understoon )

If I don't raise it up some I won't be able to use it at all. I can see through it but not good enough to use. I'll look at the gun show tomorrow. Thanks for the links guys
