Bought a 40 cal in November. Mailed away for the two free mag offer SA was running. So far nothing. Anyone buy a SA, send away for the mags and get them? Thank you

It took 2 1/2 months to get mine. Came in a mini gun case very nice. Bought the XD-45 the day after the election.

Got my paperwork back from Springfield yesterday with no mags. They said I purchased my XD a few days before the date the offer started and therefore did not qualify. Ok Whatever... Now lets wait and see how long it is before I consider buying another Springfield product.

They have to have rules to an offer or they'd have to give free mags to everyone. They have the right to set a start date and an end date.... I got my XD-45 mags a month ago and I'm completely satisfied with SA. In fact I recently purchased an XD-40 Tactical and I am satisfied as well.

Can't argue about rules and dates and such. Just didn't like the tone of their reply letter; that's all. lol But I am still wondering about how long it will be before I consider buying another Springfield product. After all, there is a lot of good competition out there.

For those who have been waiting a long time, I picked up my XD .45 ACP Tactical on Election Day, and sent in for the free mag offer on Nov 10th. Now that almost 4 months have gone by, I decided to call Springfield Armory to see if they got the request. They did, the lady was really nice & told me they were awaiting shipment, and I should get them in a week or so. They had over 40,000 responses to the free mag offer, so it's taking them a while to get them all processed & shipped. There is hope. Hang in there.

Got an invoice in the mail yesterday for the gear-up offer marked paid in full. A box containing the 2 13-round magazines & holster arrived today via Fedex in a hard plastic case. SWEET!! I didn't mind waiting 4 months as the pistol came with 2 mags when I got it. All in all, a great deal!

I got mine. It took over 2 months but what can I say? They were free so I didn't mind the wait. I think of Obama pleasuring Hillary every time I look down and realize they don't like my 4 nineteen round magazines. Anyone who hasn't received them should call Springfield to confirm they received your paperwork. When I called they told me where I was in line and when I could expect them.

I bought my XDm40 in early December and had not heard of the offer. I was in Sportsmans Warehouse and happened to see the coupon so I got one and sent it in. I got my two magazines and holster last week. Brownells sells a magazine extension that will turn these into 20 round mags.

My daughter has a small 9mm, the case the mags came in is a perfect fit for her gun and two mags.

I'm all about following the rules to the program but when I purchased my XDm, I actually paid for it prior to the start date but actually took possession after the start date. I called SA to see if they would honor it and they assured me they would. I received paperwork in February letting me know that it did not qualify. I did receive my freebies for my XD9sc but it took ...maybe three months? I had been searching for another XD9sc for my wife and finally found one the week after the program (not my fault) and of xourse SA wouldn't honor that either. I'm still a fan of SA guns but I think their customer service needs some work.

Not that I would expect special treatment but I wouls expect them to make good on something they told me and also make good on not being able to produce product fast enough to meet demand.

Still a fan and I'll probably buy a couple more (a great value wven without the extras) but I don't necessarily trust them.

Got mine within about 6 weeks. He** of an offer what with the little blue case and all. They have always been very responsive when I have dealt with them.

Sorry for your problems..........But they sure make a great product, don't they?

JGguns..........That offer has expired. "For XD(M) & XD pistls sold from October 15ht, 2008 - January 15th, 2009." This is quoted from the form that I sent in for mine.

Sorry for the bad news.
