You are persistent, aren't you? As I said, I'm not play-acting. I was country-raised on guns and cowboy hats, I've had them all my life, and I'm sitting about five miles from the place we lived in when my dad gave me my first .22 and my first hat. Get over it. Go buy your own, and shut up about mine. What's your problem; do I look better than you in a hat? Do I have prettier guns, or something? I don't understand your obsession with proving I'm some kind of urban cowboy with no right to dress or live the way I do.

Well my answer to that you will not like but here it is . When you are attacked for you beleifs or the color of your skin or what ever . When you respond to that it gives creedance to the attacker and what he has to say . If you pull down your hat adjust the twins and walk away then you just became the bigger man.

I guess I'm not that big a man. When I get attacked (as opposed to simply being disagreed with) I tend to go for the jugular or the crotch, instead of trying to walk away. I make absolutely no pretense of being a pacifist or a saint. I've lived large portions of my life in rough places among rough people, and I have rough habits.
