mini 14

i was just wondering if their is an acuresy problem with the mini 14's that have a ceriel number under 188 if there is i would like to get some ansers about why thanks.

i cant if i am not a part of that form but i dont nead any more help because i just got a 222 remington last thursday and i got a coyote with it this friday so i am not geting a mini 14 but any way thanks for the site.

Hey jr, I went there and found the thread on the barrel strut to accurize it. Mine has been sitting in the safe for years, it's a 182 series. I ordered the tri blocks already and located strut material thanks for the heads up.

Well since it appears to be free to join, and seeing as how you have/own a mini-14 and have questions that seem to be answered there, might be a good idea to join then? lol

Most are not super accurate out of the box. They were built more for reliability in mind. Most of the older ones like that are under $500. I got mine, a 186 series, put a new stock on it, pinned on a new muzzle brake, and I'm getting under 2" at 100 yds with quality commercial ammo and my handloads.

so thay are not that acuret if thay have a cerial numer is under 188 or thay are the older ones.
