Best way to sell a gun?

Ok, I couldn't figure out the best place to put this, so here it is. I need to sell a couple guns. One SKS and one handgun. I know there is a trading post here, but I wanted to get some info before I posted something there.
First off, can I ship a gun somewhere? Do I have to ship from an FFL to a FFL? I am in Ohio, does that matter? Should I try local? What do you think the best way to do that would be? I have bought guns, but never had to sell one. The other thing is, I need to sell them quick as I need the money.

How much do you want for them,? im sure you could go to a pawn shop that deals in guns to do the transfer, and womever buys them would either have to have an ffl or have an ffl receive them at him or hers location and its probablly as simple as that or you could get a phone # and deal with it however you and the buyer want too. You know if anyone is intrested give me a call at such and such number. usually a ffl will charge 20 to 30 bucks to do transfers so thats another 40 to 60 dollars overhead in the deal if you go that route

They don't have to be sent from an FFL, but they DO have to go TO an FFL. I just caught this on another thread, a few days ago, but can't remember which one. Darn CMS.....

I think that belongs in the trading post, or the vendor's section! The powder keg is for Q&A, and occasional get down argyments! LOL!

I believe to mail through the U.S. postal system, you must have a ffl.

I know when I send I have to declare the package to have a fire arm and fill out an extra ID form.

Not sure about sending through other firms.

I know hand guns have to go next day air through UPS, don't know
if any one can ship them though.

Isn't that CRS? You got it real bad
