Price of pistol, price of ammo, 100% repair or replace warranty.

I'll let the other's talk about shootability, I don't have mine yet.

For me they fit in my hand better than any pistol I have owned(except most 1911's). The ammo is cheap and the C9 is th most common of the Hi Point handguns.

All the mentioned above is true. A life time warranty that follows to who ever owns it no matter how many times it has been sold. All of that on a pistol that costs under $200.00. It's not perfect for everything and just depends on what you want to do with it. For me it's a fun range gun that's accurate and hasn't malfunctioned yet.

Cool

Got mine (broken) from a friend. I cleaned his 2 other pistols and he gave me a c9. I researched the company (beemiller) and found out about their "LIFTIME" warranty. sent them the broken "POS" and got a brand new C9 with all accessories. NEW IN BOX!! Name any other company that will back there guns like that! Less than $200. brand new. The web site for beemiller mentions cleaning, after 200 rds, run a patch through the barrel. Yes it's heavy, some people think it's ugly, alot of people call it a paper weight. It's inexpensive, easy to use, accurate, and has the best warranty in the bussiness! It's not a colt 1911, para 45, kimber ....... They cost $500 and up. The reason most dealers and BLACK gun owners don't like it, No profit margine for them!!! They can not jack up the price like they do for other guns.

i picked up a 9mm on a trade and thought i wouldnt keep it very long, but after shooting it with my friends and seeing how acurate the gun was and how the gun out preformed my 3 friends xd's,&glocks at 7 yds combat range,i held on to it and now it is a part of my crash pack. you cant go wrong with a hipiont in my opinion.
ps.the three my buddies went and bought were just as acurate as mine.

No less than 99% of all the negative things you hear about the HiPoint pistols will be based on hearsay, conjecture, or are completely irrelevant to the function of the gun (the looks and the weight... and to be honest I think they look better than glocks, and the weight is not bad at all to me).

I know a guy who had a C9 given to him. He was told (and believes) that if you rapid fire a full magazine, the barrel will crack in half. I am trying to get him to give it to me or sell it to me for cheap.

Price
Warranty
Accuracy
Reliablility
My one addition was a Hogue fingered grip for $10. Really makes a difference in the grip since the polymer grips are pretty smooth.
