I have been searching for the best bang for your buck feature rich wrist-watch. Been looking at Casio's and Suunto. However, the reviews I'm seeing on the suunto are not as good as Casio watches.
I'd suggest a watch that tells time... lol, that watch has more than I'd ever use. I don't know where I'd begin! I doubt that I'd ever even learn how to use all the features. Other than that, sweet watch, lots of toys on it. I wonder how accurate the thermometer is.
i go with cheapy watches from walmart cause im so hard on them, but i would like to find a kinetic watch, the kind that winds as you walk... but more rugged.

Seiko Divers watch is kinetic. I've had one for about 25 years. I've replaced the wrist band about 5 times, and had Seiko do a refurb/cleaning on it about 9 years ago.

I've got a nice Casio digital watch - a Forester - I think. It can tell you the phase of the moon and the best time to go fishing. But, I sure as heck can't figure out how to set it and use all the features. I'm sticking with analog watches all the way. Stand back, it's got a big hand and a little hand and I know how to use it!
I have a Casio Pathfinder. I like all of the features. I am still navigating around all of them.
My two complaints are the size of the watch face and the band. The watch face is big. Bigger than a G-Shock. The buttons are big and easy to access, but they are prone to activate by bumping them against things. Very easy to read, and the light feature is not too bright. In my opinion is a good thing.
The watch band is a good sturdy soft rubber strap. But I want to change out the band for a nylon strap. Unfortunately, the way this new band is attached to the watch, it limits the type of band you can use.
All in all, I like the watch. If you like gadgets and that, you will like the features. I like that it has 5 separate alarms. I actually use the compass more than I thought. Like when I am in the woods and check bearing, I find myself doing just that in the city.
I hope this helps.
I'm hard on watches. I used to buy the $60-$80 dollar 'gee wizz' watches. But I learned something. It doesn't last any longer than the ten dollar cheapo watch! Once the battery dies, the band is frazzled, the markings on the case are gone, and it looks all beat - time to get a new one!

There is little more satisfying in life than wearing a Walmart special and asking Johnny Tag Heuer, "what time is it?"
