Any help would be appreciated. BTW I am FEMALE... and Yes I'm putting together a collection of Marlins, I love them, I shoot them, Mostly coyote hunting accept the .35 it's reserved for Elk and Bear and WOW does it HIT !!!

Looking forward to chatting with you all soon !! Thank You for your time.

Forgot to ask too, Can someone clarify the connection between Marlin and New England Firearms, I purchased a .22 Hornet SingleShot Centerfire Breach load by New England and now find out that some how New England and Marlin are somehow connected like Marlin purchased New England... in 2000 or something... Anyway that's what I undestand but if anyone can further clarify that whole connection and what it means, that would be awesome !! Once again Thank you for your time.

Marlin owns both NEF and H&R, which companies produce essentially the same guns, newer versions of the old H&R rifles and shotguns.
And now.....
Remington owns Marlin!

Can't help with the 9mm version of a lever rifle - never heard of one being produced.

I am a Marlin man, myself, but have never heard of an 1894 made in 9mm. I think it would have trouble feeding in the Marlin tube mag.

I don't know of any Marlin lever action 9mm rifle or carbine. Marlin did produce a semi-auto Camp Carbine in both 9mm and .45 cal but this is out of production now. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

As has been said camp carbine is the only 9mm they've made that I can find... Although the .357 and .38 are firing a bullet 9.0678mm in diameter thats pretty darn close to 9mm

James, LOL, Well while that is true, the thing is I'm trying to collect every Marlin Rifle that shoots a pistol cartridge and a few others along the way as well, But near as I know, Marlin manufactured the .44mag, the .45 Colt, the 357 and the 9mm... I have the 357 and a line on the .44 but could not until just rescently find the 9mm but speaking to a buddy of mine find out his dad has one... So I'll only be missing the .45 colt, I will NOT buy one new, I want one at least 5 years or older after learning of the tragedy that has become of Marlin being aquired by remington...

I want to thank all of you who have replied and supplied links for me, I really appreciate all of your help and input, It is very KIND !!!!

Don't think of it as so much of a tragedy, they only bought 'em last year

Remington aquired Marlin to help improve their own rifles. They wanted access to Marlin's barrel rifling & bedding techniques, not to mention the precision engineering. The buyout accomplishes those things plus giving Marlin engineers access to Remington tech...soon, you should see improved Remington rifles...and the new Marlin XL-7 is doing quite nicely on the market so far.

The other benefit of the buyout is that it created a "super-company"...kind of like Pepsico. Remington has a LOT of irons in the gun world fire. Which means that Marlin owners should soon have more Aftermarket choices...in rifle stocks and other gear There is much to be said for Major Corporate Muscle.

Where I would worry is with L.C. Higgins...it'll probably get mergered into one of the other Marlin subsidiaries like NEF or H&R.
