OK. So I'm picturing you walking through the woods with a 300 on your right shoulder, a 12 Ga on your left, a 22 slung across your back, and a 44 tucked into your waist. Anything coming is going to RUN, LOL !!

NO! It will either be the .44 on the hip and the .22.

The .44 on the hip and the .300.

OR Just the .44 on the hip.

Looking at a weatherby in 300 wi. mag. They have it at a local pawn shop for $375. Going to go check it out.

The 300 at the pawn shop is $375. Blued in a synthetic stock(which would probably be good for Alaska). But after paying for the shipping($(40-50?) could you get as good of a deal there?

I'd look around! Weatherby has got there vangard msrp at 300 dollars right now.

^ Yes, but I"d look for a Weatherby first. Savage makes accurate rifles, but how they hold up I don't know.

Got the .300 tha'ts it. Going to order a henry tommorow if the weather is any good.

Handgun will probubly wait until I get up there because of canadian gun laws.
