Just got a coupon from the pawn shop for 30% off a firearms purchase up to $25. That brings it down some.

Good .44 magnum revolver!

I'd like to buy a ruger Alaskan .454 cassual, but I don't have 1000 dollars for that.

Right now I'm going twords a ruger blackhawk.

Up in the northwest part of washington you can catch a ferry that goes between there and I think Ankorege. I will check on it and try to find the particulars if you want.

My Alaskan gun would be my CZ .458 Lott, with 400 Grain TSX bullets it shoots as flat as a 30-06 with 180 grain bullets, and hits twice as hard., great for logner shots on moose and bear.

And when things get up close and personal, there are 500 grain bullets which would lay the smack down on a big ole' bear.

It seem's kinda spendy, but I suppose driving can be also. It would almost be like a cruise.

If I remember correctly, you can't transport firearms on the ferry. I may be wrong, so you should check that out !!

Firearms and longdistance shipping.

Ship by a method that is inshured and has a delivery comformation.
Properly boxed and taped.
Note in state freight shipping, they will go through your stuff thats shipped freight in Alaska, they are now playing by TSA rules these days a locked toolbox will show up at its destination with the lock cut off (looking for Illeagle stuff).
