Dan Wesson CBOB .45

Does anyone own a Dan Wesson CBOB? Just picked up the newer model a couple of months ago, and finally got to the range. All I can say is WOW.
My Kimber CDP II was just sold on GunBroker and as far as I'm concerned, especially for the money, the CBOB is one hell of a gun. No jams, hiccups, and the CBOB was amazingly accurate out of the box.

Much easier to takedown and field dress than my Kimber and no "woodpeckering" at the feedramp due to the frame being steel. Gun is very tight as I was concerned in the reliability department. No worries now.

Just curious as to others experience with the CBOB?

The CBOB has got to be the best value and most underrated 1911 on the market. It will not take long for others to discover this... and the price and availability of the CBOB's are going to change rapidly IMO. Dan Wesson/CZ are pretty serious about capturing their share of the 1911 market.

From what I hear, Smith & Wesson is making a pretty darn good 1911 now as well.

I bought mine last spring, and I'm very pleased with it. I've worked it into the carry rotation, without any negative issues at all.

Don't have a CBOB, have a DW Razorback. One of my favorite pistols.
