i just shot about 50 round through it today and i love it. at 25 yards it holds about an 8-10" pattern which isnt to bad considering it only has a 3 1/4" barrel. really nice to shoot and comforable i think im really going to like it for carring too because of its size.im going to shoot it again tomarrow
i usually just save pics to my desktop and then click "go advanced" below the quick reply box. once in there you can click the little paper clip and attach photos or any other document, you just browse and find the photo document on your desktop and click attach. works for me. lol
Springfield-06, Glad you like your PT 111 MPRO, shoots good, carries well. Keep it clean and lubed to factory specs and it should last a long time. Mine lasted until my wife started shooting it, now I don't see it often. Do your self a favor and borrow a lot of holsters before you decide which one you're buying if you plan on carring a lot. A reminder on the sights they are intended for a center of mass hold.
ok thanks alot i was going to try the holsters my buddy has to see what one i liked best because i plan on carring it all the time. i like how everyone is so nice on this website .
I bought that model around august of 08 and it was working great no jams or anything. Then on the 200th round I didn't go bang, the spring under the barrel shot forward and I guess it is not supposed to. Long story short took it back to cabelas and they ended up buying it back because they could not repair it. Hope you have better luck with yours.

looking to buy a nice 9mm carbide rifle in NC and/or any cheep firearms
HI Congrats on your purchase.......i saw the PT 111 pro in detail and then found a taurus 609...... The only differnce between 111 and the 609 is that the 609 has 13+1 shots and a rail......i think that taurus made the PT 145 and then used its body to create the 609 becuase they are exaclty the same........i ended up buying another 609 titanium for my brother....
I have so far not put many rounds through it, but my friend who has one for over 2 years now is extremely happy with it....... I originally thought that the PT 111 could not fit the 24/7 magazines and only the 609 could.... anyways, that is a good feature in that 17 +1 rounds capacity could come in handy one day.....
yeah my first pistol is the pt 111 pro and i have shot quite a few rounds through it and i like it for the size so i could conceal it, and it has done a great job for me i really like it and i do want a full size pistol but i dont wanna trade this one cause i can use it for conceal carry
I've had a PT111 for some time, with never a misfire problem. However, I did find that if you do your own reloding of hollowpoint bullets, this gun likes a bullet length, about .050 under maximum length. (Max length 1.169) The full length hollow point bullets jams, coming out of the magazine. They get stuck between the slide & the feed ramp. The bullet does not "tip & rise" to enter the breech of the barrel. If you practice with white box FMJ, my PT111 eats them as fast as I can pull the trigger. And, it is VERY accurate too. Kick is mild & completely manageable. When I wanted a "deap concealed" carry gun, I got a new Ruger LCP. But, when I found I could not hold onto the LCP for more than 2-3 shots, I sold the gun. The LCP "squirmed around" enough that I could not hold on target. I replaced the LCP with a SIG P380 for deep concealed carry & it is accurate & fun to shoot.. I like the PT111 a lot, but it is a little wide for me, for concealed carry, in street clothes, but I do shoot it often & do carry it, when I can conceal it with "cold weather" clothes. Otherwise, I also have a PT92AFS (9mm) and PT58HC in 380ACP. They are both deadly accurate guns. I like them all!
bought one a month or so ago after first reading this thread for research. Love the gun, easily concealable holstered outside the waistband if you wear a un-tucked button-down shirt, which I usually wear anyway. Before that I carried a CZ .40-B which is a friggin cannon and kinda hard to conceal....now it lives in the safe and my taurus comes with me everywhere I go.

I also own a Taurus Millenium Pro PT111 9mm. I love the gun. I put about 132 rounds through it so far. Its not much but with that amount I haven't had any jams or anything. I highly doubt I will see any jams any time soon. I like the way the pistol is put together, it is very tight. I paid the same price for mine as well. The first thing i noticed about it was that it is very top heavy. A full mag compensates for that. I haven't shot it lately since I bought the Taurus PT1911b. My 1911 is my baby. Shoots like a charm right out of the box.
