Damnit! Had military duty this weekend and found out that the armory went through a total overhaul with the new S4 boss.... They reassigned all weapons. My sweet FN made M16 is now in someone else's hands. She was a beauty and dead-on target. Now I have to take a weapon I've never fired and start all over with weapons quals next month. My first time firing it will be to zero and qualify.

Sorry, I'm just ranting and raving about it... chewed the first sergeant about it too. lol He ran away swearing he had nothing to do with it.

Its kinda like waking up and finding someone else's wife laying next to you... Hopefully she puts out.

I'm hurt for you. That sucks. I'm not military, but I was very sad when the PD took my shotgun away and gave me a "new better" one with ghost sights. Ghost sights are for those who don't know how to shoot a shotgun!!! I don't need them and they get in the the way. I'm tempted to "bump" into something and knock it off.

What's wrong with the FAMAS? I was under the impression it was pretty good(even though it is French).

And it does suck to get stuck with another rifle after spending time tweaking the old one.

I got a different 16 every year. We don't take our weopon from home. We pick them up in Kuwait and leave our current ones at home.

I was NMCB-26 for 4 years, Army before that, back in the Army now. (Ohio National Guard) Good to see more BEEs around. hoooraaahh

Yep. 74 does more........................because we have to do it twice.

So you know how it is if you ever went to a Seabee deployment sight. My favorite was Rota, Spain. The weps were new and there is nowhere to go to range over there so they are still in nice shape. Weapons cleaning days were easy, knock the dust off of 'em.

I am at a SWCC unit now. I love it and am thinking about crossing over.
