I recently picked up a supposed Rossi M88 Revolver. Seems to be a good little shooter but I am a little confused why mine is different from all of the pics I have seen of other M88's.
I am comparing it to the markings and lack of markings on this M88

Against my Rossi M88.
I find it odd that mine has no markings on the barrel where it says 38 special like the gun broker one does. and also has different writing on the opposite side of the barrel. Another thing is mine looks to say M88-2 whats that about? Thank yall so much for the time to help me figure this out!
