Update: I just found this in regards to the National Guard instructor who was put in jail after a gun (an Olympic Arms AR-15) he loaned to someone malfunctioned and went into a other then one round at a time mode.
It seems someone didn't like the testimony in the instructors favor, and now they're harassing him, he says.
