10/22 scope...any suggestions???

I'm looking to put a scope on my 10/22. I was thinking about the Bushnell rimfire 3-9x32mm. What do you think? What do you guys have on yours?

i have had a cheap tasco 4x on mine since the day i bought it like 8 years ago and it hasn't had one problem yet. unless target shooting i see no need for more than 4x on a 22

Cool Scope 10/22 rifle

I have a weaver 2.5-7 var and for the price the glass ok and is designed for a rimfire 10/22 price appx 175.00 knock it around abit and still holds on target 1.75 moa at 100 yrds has fine cross hairs, IMO a good all around scope for this.

Mine is a steel tube 4x with a rectangular (TV style) eyepiece. It works great, has a 1" tube. I got it at a show many years ago for $10. Personally, I don't think much of a lot of the low end scopes out there now -- too much distortion around the edges, cheap feeling adjustments, etc. I would look at a used high power rifle scope rather than a rimfire scope. It will take more bumps and accidental abuse.

marussi50, Your choice is a good one. There was a time when I would have recommended the Simmons 1022T 3X9X32AO but under the present owners, Meade Optics, it no longer exists! It was a hugely popular choice amoung 10/22ers for years. It was priced @ $118.00 but could often be had for slightly less. I do have a Bushnell 3X9X32 and it gets the job done for little $$. With my aging eyes an AO helps me considerably.

I have a Leupold VX-II 3-9 x 50 mm waiting to go on the 10/22 i'm building at the moment.
I like to see the tear in the eye of my target when they think they heard a click, and crack. If you invest a lot of time in your weapons I think a high quality optic scope is the best present to give yourself and your rifle.

Mueller APV 4.5X14. You can't buy a better scope for the money.

I have a center point with illuminated reticule. Bought it at Wally world and it will allow this old dude to shoot with 2 inches at 100 yards. Better than that some days. I paid 54.95 for it.

I don't think there is a clearer, better scope for your money than a mueller apv 4.5-14x 40 on the market for your rifle. Everyone has an opinion but strongly consider this scope. Amazing and looks awsome! hope this helps

I put a Sightron Series I 3-9X40mm on my Ruger 10/22. Nice scope, good clarity. You can pick one up for about $130 bucks shipped.

I liked my Tasco 3-9x40 scope. It was really nice for the $30 I paid for it. I actually have two and neither gave me any problems over a few thousand rounds. Eventually I am going to put one of them on whatever mild-power rifle I end up with.

Nikon prostaff 3-9x40, retail: $149.99. I mounted one on mine and the optics are super sharp, bright and clear as you could want. best thing i ever did to that gun. (beside put that newly released Timney trigger that just became available this month!)

What type of shooting are you going to do, what is the main use of the rifle?

Plinking a 4x or 6x fixed would be fine.

target shooting, would probably want more magnification.
