Thumbs up

The original, which I copied and tried to post, had great music along with the pictures. Don't know why the audio wouldn't post. At least the pictures were worthwhile.

Reminds me of 'Braveheart' (the movie) which was based, sometimes loosely, on a true story.

William Wallace took a stance in the late 1270s to his death in the very early years of 1300 in the sake of freedom.

Robert the Bruce carried on after Wallace's death at the hands of Edward the 1st.

The stuggle for true freedom is not only on the battlefield but in the heart of the men, women and children who have ever suffered any form of tyranny through actions or unwarranted laws.

This makes me want to dig out the VHS tape and play it. It's been many moon since I watched the movie but I can almost tell you scene to scene what is happening and why.

Some people don't realize it but the rule of England makes some of Hitler's actions pale in significance (and I'm not putting ANY lightness to Hitler's evil deeds).

Savor freedom....cherish freedom.

Welcome each morning with a knowledge that someone before us has shed blood for our right to be free and in every definition of freedom.

Above all, praise God we still have the right to that freedom.

Braveheart is a great movie Dale. The historical accounts of Edwards dirty deeds are pretty sickening. Things that would make the Taliban blush.
