Just purchased a new in the box XDm 40 cal S&W and the recoil spring guide rod has a visable rub place on the fwd end of the rod after only 100 rounds??? anyone else experience this on their .40 cal springfields??

I am looking into making that same purchase and am interested in the responses you may get. There was another post about the finish in here I read about; something about the finish coming off the barrel after cleaning.

Just, checked mine and got 400 through it it some rub marks about 3/4'' from the very end, mine looks like the recoil spring rubbed it but nothing on the very end.
