Where in Las Vegas can I buy cheap ammo for my new XDm for the range? I am a first time handgun shooter. So I am not sure where to go. The Walmart on Eastern was all out of 9 mm ammo.

dgnagy pistol ammo is pretty hard to find right now. Pretty much any caliber you are looking for is out of stock. You could check Sportsmans Warehouse, Bass Pro, Big 5, and a few of the local gun stores here in town. You will end up paying a little more at the gun stores than at Walmart but at least they might have it. You could also order the ammo online. If you can afford to buy in bulk it would be the way to go for sure.

Ammo is going fast, A friend of mine said his buddy went into Walmart and bought them out of several types of ammo. Also I can't find surplus 30-06 for a Garand rifle J&G is sold out, the CMP only has a little and many others are sold out.

If you can buy in bulk, do so. You save a little cash. Reloading ids the way to really save though.
