Oh very cool. Ha rice paddy I'll let that count. I live near...ish of Atlantic Beach (west of it) before the intracoastal river.

Do you shoot at any area ranges? I go mainly to the Dixon WMA just south of Waycross, but have been known to go to the one in the Osceola.

I go to the Gun Gallery the most... its JUST east of southside on beach.

Very cool. Where do you all go to shoot? And do any of you belong to gun/shooting clubs? I've been looking for some but can't find any that are close to me.

i used to live there ... worked at a strip club bar tending when i was in college . .. off of beaches ....

Shoot most of the time at Gun Gallery. Bulls eye range is run by an a$$ hole that thinks he is god. Was a member at Gateway but it became to muck of a chore to go all the way out there. With the price of ammo I really don't shoot near as much as I did a few years ago.

Yeah I feel ya. Prices are not cheap. I go to the Gun Gallery too. I was there the other day and they told me within the next few months or so they are planning on having a 50ft in-door rifle range!

I go out to the public range in Osceola National Forest. It is a bit of a drive but there usually aren't too many poeple there.

I live in Middleburg. Could someone give me directions to Osceola National Forest range? The neighbers don't like the 30-06 very much so have to find a new place to shoot.

I'm just south of you in Green Cove Springs and I am a member of the Gateway Gun Club, although I don't get out there that often. I goto the Gun Gallery more often than anywhere else.

Just another member from Jville,Practice shooting squirells at 100 yards with my 17 in the back yard,Also have turkey hunted at the homestead and been succesful.Mainly hunt and shoot outside of Waycross and sometimes in Portal-Just passed Hope-U-Liket.Hope to find a club close to home soon.I really enjoy challenging shoots.

Palatka here.. about an hour south of Jacksonville.

I usually go shooting on friend's private property, but I am interested in going to some ranges in the area that allow rifles.

I own AR15's and need the longer distance at rifle ranges.. since one of my AR15's is specifically setup for long-distance shooting.

I hang out on ar15.com, same username, in the Hometown - Florida forums.. Lots of friendly people there.

By the way, there is an upcoming event, the "Leaded" Tea Party, however there is a big stink going on over it right now. A battle between the St. Johns county code enforcement people and the private land owners that own the range that the party will be held at.
