I was wondering if someone with the Kimber Ultra Carry II could measure the grip screw spread for me. I was told that they were 2 11/16", but wanted someone with their hands on one to verify that if they could.

Reason being, I'm looking at getting some custom grips made (I haven't purchased the UC II yet), and wanted to make sure they are the standard size for 'compact' 1911 grips. Any info appreciated.

I have the Ultra Carry CDP II. The spread on the grips are indeed 2 11/16". What grips are you getting?
