Newb with a Rossi lever action question..

Hi all, just signed up today after searching in vain for information on a lever action carbine I picked up over the weekend. It's an Interarms Rossi Model 92 SRS, has the medallion on the left side. Got a great price on it, and it's very clean. My wife says that "it's pretty".

Is there any way to find out when this was made or imported? I know that it is an earlier model, but I don't even know when these hit the market.

Almost forgot, it's .357 version. I can't wait to shoot this thing. Anything I need to watch out for? Potential problems or anything like that?

Thanks in advance.

I came by my obsession honestly. This is my mom when she was 13 years old, sometime in 1940.

That is one of the early imports, not sure when. Maybe 10- 15 years ago? I have one, 357, 16" stainless steel , imported by Legacy. Now Rossi is selling their M 92's themselves. Legacy is importing an Italian made levergun.
